21CC Education Partners with Mint Hotels
21CC has made a foray into the hospitality industry by partnering with Mint Hotels, a chain of business hotels and service apartments that is striving to revitalize the budget segment of the hotel industry in India by making world-class service, hygiene and security affordable at centrally-located properties across the country. 21CC has partnered with Mint to create 14 e-learning modules for the housekeeping and the front office staff, ranging from such topics as induction processes, bed-making, bathroom cleaning, check-in and check-out processes, standard guest query handling, escalation scenarios and handling, fire prevention and response, and general conduct.
The brief from Mint for us is simple: create compelling content that helps frontline staff in a rapidly growing hotel chain understand their role in maintaining the hygiene and safety standards of the hotel. Mint prides itself on highly detailed standard operating procedures that are aimed at ensuring that guests have a consistent experience across all their properties. This of course requires ensuring that the staff is armed with the necessary knowledge to perform their day-to-day activities with a great deal of expertise. The challenge lies in imbuing the staff of the hotels they acquire with the Mint sense of service, its mantra of ‘Live Fresh.’
Training for hotel employees can often become difficult to organize depending on the number of employees and their shift patterns. By leveraging digital resources, 21CC aims to make the e-learning flexible so that employees can learn on-the-go, with improved training impact, delivery and reinforcement to resuscitate the training experience being the ultimate goal.
